Great Northern University is pleased to announce the launch of the Great Northern University Fund for the 2019-2020 academic year. The fund was initially announced to a key group of giving partners via letter and email at the beginning of October.
The financial goal for the Fund in this academic year is to raise $111,000. This goal is equal to the amount of need-based tuition discounts that will be offered to current GNU students during the 2019-2020 academic year. These need-based tuition discounts are given to eligible students based upon the federal standards for financial aid because the students and their families cannot access federal aid monies like grants and loans until Great Northern University receives full accreditation. Gifts given to this fund will offset the cost to the University of providing these discounts.
